Yet Another Hollyhock

Hollyhock the Third
Scipio Cepiacanus
July 15, 2010

Alas, awake. Unlock, spring bound Hollyhock! Summertide swirls, layered drops, mists and sheets, in calm or windy twirls, feed fuel like passion for a triumph, flamed life blessed. Long armed greenish scepters ascend, give bulbed amends from winter's quiet, resting gem. July in bloom. Purply-pink, tissue thin, fingers extended petals ache sunward, then weight and waitful droop, the daytime smile frowns when dark aways bright from you. Yellow eyelets balled, bawling dust off string hair pollen ends, which feeds aborn new carried. Farthest they flew. Let seeds like songs, my shy muse, release the words silence wronged. Deeds boom vibrant affect when faithful and true.
