Magnus dei
By Scipio Cepiacanus

Amarveling, amazed, two parts one
whole, one plays melodian hot, one felt harmonized bold. The pitch
where sought; combined both, they resonate a mortal Bach. Separated
together, the waft trembled treble, the cleft hovered wings, the
viola's plane, a mane-bow on strings, arms outreached, a'first
drawing tunes. Then daft tuned, searching. . .searching. . .focus
fugue brings, the sweet suite's minors, peaceful rings. White-cool of
violet, embodied passion unbound, brings dreaming joy teary,
embounding holy sounds. Magnus dei indeed sings. Requited requiem,
returning centuries o'us, Bach's genius all-ways reigns.
